Hello Board,

Please excuse my writing in English, I am a foreigner living temporarily in Germany.
Could you help me out and clear out for me the organizational structure of Toyota Europe?
What I am looking for is an email address to the Customer Service of the European HQ of Toyota, if such department or position exists there.

So far, I have had pretty bad experience with one of the German dealers, which I have bought my IQ from and the Customer Service of Toyota Deutschland, as it seems, is not willing to do anything to support the solitary customer. This whole situation is highly frustrating, dragging for over 3 months now and it looks that it is not heading into any particular direction.

I prefer not to share too many details of my case at this moment, since I still believe in honesty and fair customer treatment of this brand, although, as written above, not much of this faith is left. I'd like to give Toyota one more chance before sharing the details with the public.

I understand, that you don't want to go into details concerning the problems with your dealer.
But please let us know about the problems with your iQ. Maybe some of the board members know how to solve your problem or have had the same issue and can give a hint.
And don't forget to include model type and model year of your iQ !

I guess most board member understand you, when you write in english. Do you understand the written german language?

Hi Hartmut,

Thanks for the reply. I do understand German writing, but will reply in English.
I do not know exactly how to find the exact model of my car, the production date is probably somewhere in 2013.
Car has standard equipment, ie. manual gearbox, 1.0L gas engine and a standard entertainment system (Radio with CD, no GPS/Navi) and the issue concerns warranty exchange of an accessory item, which has not been done correctly in my opinion and the problem appeared again. Since some time, items on the other side of the car start showing similar issue.
The whole story is related more to handling of a warranty case, rather than to a technical solution.
Whatever the outcome be, I will put a detailed description here when the case is closed.

That is the reason of my asking here how is Toyota organized. Are the national representatives (distributors) just loosely cooperating under the European umbrella, or is there a supervisory department in Belgium responsible for the whole EU?

I have been in touch with the Customer Dept. of Toyota in Koeln regarding this matter, but their reaction has been minimal, leaving all the job to be done by the dealer. That is why I am looking now for contact with the European HQ.

Ich habe Toyota Belgien noch nie kontaktiert, deshalb weiß ich nicht, ob sie Dir helfen würden.
Definitiv ist es die Europäische Zentrale.

Du kannst versuchen, zu einem anderen FTH zu gehen. Ich habe die Erfahrung gemacht, daß es Unterschiede zwischen den Händlern und ihrem Engagement gibt. In welcher Stadt wohnst Du? Vielleicht kann Dir jemand die Adresse eines "besseren" FTH geben.

Aus welchem Land bist Du nach Deutschland gekommen?

Definitively it is the European Headquarter.

You can try to go to another Toyota dealer. I made the experience that there are differences between the dealers and their engagement. In which town are you living? Maybe someone can give you an address of a "better" Toyota dealer.

From which country came you to Germany?
